could my laptop play the SIMS 2? (have info)?

I want to buy the game but I’m a bit intimidated to play it on my laptop. Here is the info:
it’s a thinkpad IBM T41

im just gonna copy it over, b/c I don’t know what any of this stuff means, but perhaps you can tell me if My CPU can handle the SIMS 2 game.

well lucky for you I happen to have the sims 2 manual with the minimum requirements. OK here they are:

If you have a T&L capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM then you need at least:
800 MHz processor or better
256 MB RAM if Windows Vista, XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space

If you have a non-T&L capable video card (an Intel Extreme Graphics or a Radeon 7000/VE Series) then you need at least:
2.0 GHz processor or better
256 MB RAM if Windows Vista, XP, Windows ME, Windows 98, or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space

Based on these and your info I would say no, but i would check and see how much hard drive space you have (local disc C:) and what GHz your processor has. if thats in your description i apoligize. it doesnt all make sense to me :P . good luck.
