How do you break up a relationship?
Alrighty, this relationship is between my boyfriend’s mother and a man who lives in Utah.
The problem is, we live in Hawaii, and his mother wants to uproot the family (3 children who have lived here the majority of their lives) to move to Utah to marry this guy. And it just so happens they have spent a grand total of NINE days together. NINE. She went to visit him for three days, and he came here for six.
She met this guy on an online dating site, and they talk on a webcam. He is a doctor and makes a lot of money, which is why I think she wants to marry him so badly. He can’t move here without taking a huge paycut. He has two children of his own.
Now she has told her children that they will be moving by December at the latest to Utah. Yesterday their father who she divorced moved to North Carolina.
I am wondering how on earth I could possibly stop this from happening. My boyfriend and I have been together almost a year and I love him very much. How can I stop this???
Sorry, but I don’t think there is any thing you can do about this…it really is unfortunate. Probably, she’ll be moving back to your state as soon as she realizes her mistake in falling for someone like this….who cares if he’s a Dr? And how does she know he is a Dr? and I don’t know, this just sounds too bazaar for anyone to be so quick on the draw to move her whole family because SHE is thinking only about what she wants! I’m sorry…I’ll get of my soap box now!
