Is it better to buy computer software from the store than online?
I have a free trial version of Microsoft Office 2007, and I was wondering is there a benefit to buying in the store than online.
i.e. Someone at best Buy told me that it is better to buy the spyware in the store because buying it online may not give all the up-to-date features.
What do you think?
Most software nowadays can usually update themselves if you’re on line, so that argument doesn’t stand. You could probably get it cheaper over the net, as it’s easy to shop around . But if you have problems and need to return it, I think it would be better to go to a locale shop.
