Online Dating Rejection Letter
Ever got an e-mail from a college after they’ve rejected you?
I applied to Georgia Tech late December/early January and received a rejection letter from them February 29. BUT I got this e-mail from Georgia Tech asking me about my application on March 7:
Thanks for your application to Georgia Tech. Remember that you may check the status of your application online: www.apply.gatech.edu/checkapp. You will need your Birth Date, GT ID, and Zip Code, if available, to login.
And it goes on about sending SAT and ACT scores and the Georgia Tech admissions contact info. My question is, why am I receiving this? It isn’t doing anything but making me mad.
They probably had a second round of applications and accidentally sent out the ‘check your application’ email to everyone.
The only time I heard from a college after I had been rejected was a few months later to say ‘oh, and we saved all your personal information and it was just stolen. Sorry about that.’
