How long should you talk to someone before meeting them if the distance is 4 hours?

I think that the sooner you meet them the better. That way you know if you want to waste any more time on them. I chatted to a guy once, he seemed great. When I met him he had on a dirty shirt! Ugh. a real turn off. Just make sure someone knows where you are going and who you are meeting. I always left all information necessary to protect myself. I met my husband on line. Good luck.
