Is 6 inches considered a good penis size?

From everything I’ve read on the internet, I’ve found that like 5.5 or 6 inches is considered the average penis size for a man. I’m probably around from 5.75″ to 6 inches erect. Yet, for almost every girl that I’ve slept with (and there’s been a good amount), they are surprised that my penis is that big. I know, I know…many of you might say that they’re flattering me. But, these are one night stands and such, they really have no reason to lie to me.

But, I always see Craigslist ads and other online things about girls only wanting over 7″, 8″ inch penises…even guys that claim to have 9 inch penises. So, my question is…how could 6″ be the average when I’m 6 inches and girls think I’m big, yet according to most statistics and ads on dating/hookup sites, 6 inches is actually very, very low on the ‘totem pole’ of penis sizes?
