Online Dating For Women Advice
Exposing your children to strangers every time someone dates you from an online dating site?
Here’s the deal: You are divorced. You have 2 children who are 6 years old and are shared by your parents every other week, for a week at a time. The dad dates all kinds of women from an online dating service. The children goes on a lot of these dates with dad. When the children go to mom’s house, they seem to be somewhat insecure, won’t let the mom out of site. One child more so than the other. Could it have something to do with all the exposure to different females? He’s dated some from 1 time to a few months. This has been going on for the last couple of years. Any advice?
The Father of the kids should be more aware of the safety issues this can pose. Exposing the kids to a constant stream of “lady” friends, can be harmful to the kids in the sense of security, and finding if dad spends so much time with them why doesn’t he spend that much time with me attitude, yes if he is in a serious relationship with one lady fine introduce them, if it is something that is only gone on for 3 months or less don;t bother letting the kids see them.
The attachment the kids have to their mum is one of stability and they are showing that in by making sure she is there all the time with them being clingy. It is hard in situations like this, try to talk to the father about his behaviours and how it is damaging the kids, and make sure he knows they will be better off in an environment that is more secure and stable, with a consistency in it.
PS I had a girlfriend hubby take her kids so he could get the symphony vote of single females to go out with him! the nerve I tell ya!
