For vegans and vegetarians: Have you ever had trouble in the dating world because of your lifestyle?

I certainly have! Several months ago, I went out with a guy I met online. When I told him on the phone I was a vegetarian, he behaved strangely and felt kind of awkward, because he was afraid I would think less of him because he ate meat. Needless to say, it didn’t work out, but it wasn’t just because of our dietary differences. Have any of you had to deal with similar scenarios?

I have never had a problem. I date mostly veggies. They are so easy.
