False. Some people are into really specific things, and it can be hard to find a match in the ‘real world’. Internet dating gives them the opportunity to find people like them, i don’t see anything wrong with that.
It’s easy to know if you’re being played by a fake or not, you take these things in steps. You start by messaging, then use the webcam or phone and then you meet up. The people (mostly teens) that get fooled by creeps pretending to be other people ask for it a lot of the time… you have to make sure the person you’re talking to is genuine.
