I’m divorced and wondering what the deal is with this online situation?
I’ve been using singlesnet, I met a guy on there, we’ve gone out 3 times. Things seem to be going well. He contacts me either through the dating site or on email everyday. We have kissed and cuddled on the past 2 dates. I asked him if he’s just looking to hook up, he says no. THe thing that’s killing me is that it seems like he is online a lot. He has said things to me like most people on the site are a nightmare, his thing is getting cancelled soon, etc…but he’s online a lot it seems. Is the tracker of when people are online accurate? I probably check a lot too since i’m on the comp all day. I just check to see if anyone interesting has contacted me…but i really like him. When i see him online it makes me feel like, damn, i guess he’s really on the prowl for more.
You’ve been on 3 dates. That’s not a relationship and he’s still looking around and probably dating other people. That’s how it works. Yes, he IS on the prowl for someone else, or someone more or someone different. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t like you letting him grope you and get sexual with him, but you’re not IT for him.
The trick to internet dating: Date a pair and a spare. Never get stuck on ONE guy after only a couple of dates.
