Turn a friend-who-is-a-girl into a girlfriend?
About a year ago, I met a girl at a French club meeting at school. Over the summer we talked alot and became very close. Last September, I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said no.
We are still good friends, but I maintain romantic feelings for her. She dated another guy for a while, but recently split up with him.
On Saturday we went to a Renaissance Faire for my birthday, and suddenly my romantic feelings came rushing back.
I know it sounds cheesy, but if I could design my ideal woman from scratch, she would be it. I have very strong feelings for her.
I’ve read some articles online about changing a relationship from a purely platonic one to romantic one, but I was wondering if there are any specific do’s and don’ts.
I am somewhat hesitant to just come out and say it, because I feel that it might damage our friendship irreparably and turn every situation into an awkward mess.
Anyway, thanks in advance for your advice.
date another chick.
