Do you have any advice for my date with this guy?

So I was at a bar and this guy caught my eye but we did not meet. While I was chatting to some other guys he got my friends number and texted her that he had liked me. I texted back to say hi and he suggested by message that we go for dinner and drinks asking when would suit. I suggested a weeknight and he would rather 8:30-9pm and then asked where i lived.

Any tips for this date? Does it all seem fine to you? I’m excited.

For safeties sake meet at a public place with plenty of people, not to be a downer. Perhaps even refrain from mentioning where you live til you know him better.

That aside: It’s a common occurrence, and it’s always nice to put an effort into meeting new people. Dress nicely, smile a lot, and get to know him =D. You’ll be fine.
