Dating advice for women can be summed up in just a few words: don’t let the guys win, ladies! What does this mean? First of all, we must emphasize that this article is not meant to be a male-bashing article. Some men are nice and know how to treat a lady. Then again, some men can be cruel and quite vindictive. You need to protect yourself in dating, because you never really know someone until you see his best and worst side.
In this dating advice for women, we are focusing on building your self-respect and your assertiveness. These are two qualities that you absolutely need if you are going to enter a relationship. A woman doesn’t enter a relationship expecting anything. She does not immediately place all of her trust in a man just because he shows interest. Just because a man appears to be entertaining, funny or sweet doesn’t mean that this is a match made in heaven.
The next bit of dating advice for women is to analyze your date’s behavior. Men who are abusive, or at least men who are only looking for sex, will often times test the women they date. They may try to manipulate an emotional reaction out of you. They may try to pressure you (overtly on subtly) into having sex. Never succumb to a man’s wishes if they are not your own.
You might often hear in dating advice for women that a woman should never make the first move or ask a man out. Do I agree with this? This depends. If it makes a woman feel needy, or if she is saying such things out of loneliness, or desperation, then obviously it is a mistake. However, it’s important to realize that in the modern age some women are very upfront when it comes to asking a man out. Some women may subtly draw him in, perhaps stealing a glance or two from across the room, or making small talk.
The important thing to remember is that a strong woman never lets a man “win”, or get the better of her. She is self-confident enough to know that when a relationship is going well, or if a man is testing her. She is self-assured and independent. Take this dating advice for women seriously. You must love yourself before you can start dating again. Win and find love on your own terms.
