Anti-Virus Software?

Mine is out of date and I don’t want to leave my computer without virus protection. Is there any place online where I can download free anti-virus software? (preferably something that is NOT a 60 day trial [or something like that])

I agree with rippir.
Forget what the other bloke said about free antivirus.
Avg kills better known av’s like norton and mcafee.
Don’t dl the anti-spyware though as it is only a trial.
avg is free and removes all known infections and does it better than most.

down load the free version and this will protect better than most.
ps: if you people who will comment here to say avg is no good then why don’t you download and try it for yourself.
You will find that it will not miss the crap that norton and mcafee etc… misses
to taki… Youv’e got to be kidding me haven’t you.
Avg is a light program that’s easy on resources.
when running in Idle mode, I’m only using 3-5% of my pc while I am running 2x spyware applications and 2x firewalls.
How is it heavy???
