Im a divorced woman dating a widow?
Im 32 no kids, he’s 34 and has a 3 year old.
We have been out only 6 times, and I like him a lot already, he’s probably the best man I have ever dated.
He seems to like me a lot too, we have only kissed by now, well, he did grabbed my butt a couple of times.
My fear is, his wife died only about 8 months ago, she was sick for a couple of years before passing away. He was married to her for like 10 years and dated her for about 3 or 4 years before they were married.
Is it too soon for him to get into something serious? Dos he need to be single and meet many women for a long time? Any chance he is considering me seriously?
I really really like this man, and I would definetely think he likes me a lot, but Im also really afraid of getting hurt and would prefer to get out before I fall for him.
Any comments would be appreciated, I dont know any widows I could relate this to.
I understand what your concern is however that is not always the case;
Usually guys tend to get over relationships/things much quicker then women do.
Your friend had 3-4 years to prepare his heart that she would be passing so i think he’s probably walking in some type of freedom.
When i met my husband i was very concerned that he had not had enough time(1 year) between his previous marriage and marring me. However, I’m very happy to say that THIS WAS NOT THE CASE 
) When he said he was over it/past it… He was telling the truth. I’m more sure and reassured with every day that passes by.
I would’nt cross your love intrest off of the list just yett;however i would take it VERY slow and give him enough time to get the know the best parts of you the real you and your personality without bringing the bedroom into the picture.
