How long can i stay in Dubai on an Employment Entry Permit without obtaining a residence visa stamp?

My UAE employment entry permit (not stamped on my passport) shows 30 days from date of entry but shows validity as 60 days. My employer has chosen not to continue with my services and hence will not obtain a residence permit for me. However, he has mentioned that I can stay on till the end of my entry permit validity and look out for a new job. So my question is – can i stay for 30 days or 60 days from my date of entry?

The “Notes” in the Entry Permit Sheet itself self explanatory.
Note No.1 States that the Validity of Permit: 60 Days from date of issue. (So the entry permit holder must enter the country within 60 days from the date of issue of permit)

Note No.2 Duration of Stay: 30 Days from the date of Entry. (The person will be legally allowed to stay here in the country for 30 days from the date of entry). And the residence / employment people must report and do the procedures in the duration.
