Slow, unreliable Cox Cable box?
Does anyone else have this Scientific Atlanta – Explorer 2000 cable box and Cox service?
This thing is just a piece of junk, you try to browse stations and its always updating or stalling, or changing dates… And the info box never has the information loaded. I finally had Cox come out and replace my box and remote, but they gave me the same exact box, this box is probably from year 2001 because Scientific Atlanta has a model 8000 out now, and thats even a year old.
Am I the only one using this box with these problems?
Well, I have Cox Cable, and I had to call them twice because of the cable box. I have the Scientific Atlanta-Explorer 2100, and my channels are constantly freezing up and all they tell me is that everything is ok as far as they can see.Overall, Cox Cable is not any good, and I am going to change providers soon. Plus, it seems that the bill goes up and up without any changes made by me. If I am going to pay that much for cable, at lease have decent service. I just had to let that out. Hope it works out and if not, go to another provider who is better. That’s what I am doing.
