Will you have the same memories? Will you have the same emotions? For example, if you have friends in Hell, will you still remember them? Will you still remember and care about them?
Will you have the same level of intelligence? Higher? Lower? Infinite intelligence? How will this impact the residents of Heaven who died only a few hours into their conception?
Will you retain the skills that you developed? Playing the piano? Skateboarding?
Will you have free will like (most but not all Christians believe we have) on Earth?
Will you have the same interests? Cars? Photography? Sports?
Perhaps you tried to describe yourself in the past, for an online dating site or such. How much of what you wrote (or would have written) about your Earth-self would apply to your Heaven-self? That is, what do those two have in common?
WHO knows, nobody has come back to tell us about it yet.
Christ gave insights to it, man has gone so far as streets of gold and mansions in the sky (earthly Desires)
I just think: “If Heaven ain’t a Lot like DIXIE, I don’t want to go.” Play all day, play Golf, tennis etc.., never grow old, never be in poor health, always be with family and friends FOREVER.
