Totally Free Online Date Sites
How to end this (online dating)?
Hi, I swore to myself I would never do a dating site.
Well, my friend told me it was fine, I heard good things about them, and so I decided to try one out.
I made an account on okcupid.com, a totally free site (so obviously has plenty of creeps, which I didn’t think through).
Well, I had an IM conversation with a guy (didn’t let out too much info) and realized he was a total creep by the end.
The thing is, I was really overtired when I was talking to him, and when I’m overtired I become passive. So I just said, “oh, I don’t know when I’ll have time so I’ll let you know later.”
I’m pretty dumb when I’m overtired. I feel AWFUL for saying so much in the first place, when I didn’t realize he was a weirdo. I’d usually never do that.
Now, I need to find a way to not only say no to him, but also to say I don’t want to talk to him at all.
Any suggestions???
With internet dating problems like this are really simple to solve. You either ignore him, block him or just tell him, sorry you don’t really sound like my type but i hope you find someone nice soon. Don’t worry about being horrible or hurting someone’s feelings, this is how it works and if you met someone in the ‘real world’ and they sounded like a weirdo you probably wouldn’t want them to hang around you either would you? If he gets nasty or abusive then block him, if he tries to play the sympathy card then just don’t reply or politely say no again. Don’t waste your time and don’t waste his time leading him on.
